About Martin

Martin Brossman

Martin Brossman is passionate about small business success. His mission is to personally and professionally support small and micro businesses in North Carolina. Through his coaching practice he is able to provide rapid results to executive, small business, and entrepreneurial clients guiding them to build on their strengths and overcome their weaknesses as individuals and as team members.

Over 20 years ago, Martin’s professional career started with IBM (International Business Machines). After 7 years as a Marketing and Service Support Manager, he left IBM to become an entrepreneur; developing and operating small businesses and coaching others to success. In 2003, he developed a Coaches Certification / Mentoring program to establish standards and protocols for coaching professionals. He is a long standing member of the National Speakers Association.

Marting has an extensive background in science and technology, a BA in Math/Computer Science from St. Andrews College, that he balances with constant personal development training including certification as a Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner and Team Builder.

In his quest to create strong support for small businesses in the Raleigh “Triangle”, Martin founded Professional Networking on the Web for the Capital City Club in Raleigh, NC. He is also the Director of Martin Brossman and Associates and travels the state of North Carolina to teach social media techniques for entrepreneurs at the state colleges’ Small Business Centers and other venues.

Martin has authored books on social media marketing and men’s issues and published articles to address conflict management, humor and harmony, computers and their function-dysfunction, and our changing society.

A native of Washington, DC, Martin is now a North Raleigh resident. He is never one to sit still and always sees the humor in life. His personal pursuits include solving social issues, camping, hiking, meditation, travel, Amateur Radio (KI4CFS), close-up magic, learning the electric bass guitar, and discovering the best in everyone.
